Major: Electrical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
Much has changed since I attended. They have added dorms for on campus living, which is attracting the non-commuter student. When I started here, they had Quarters. 3 quarters for a year, with summer school, and what was called September Option. Sept Option - basically you went to school every day in September for 4 weeks, a test every Friday, and a final the last Friday. This was a great way to get through some of the harder classes or ART111. Once the school switched to semesters, Summer school was still an option for the hard classes. This school was mainly a commuter university, with some on campus housing. The housing was old, and stories I heard from people who lived there (Tower Lake apt.) said they had roaches.I worked full time, and carried a full course load. Once my classes were over, I left the campus. This did not afford me too many opportunities to meet people outside of class, so I rated the social questions low because of that.Once you start taking classes in your major, the classes become smaller, and the professors provide individual level help and mentoring. My first job out of university was the result of referrals I received from my professors.
