OK many of you rated the University low, thats wack. OK if you wanna major in a science, GO HERE. Alot of the programs here are bullshit but Bio, marine science, geology, geography, environmental science, astronomy are on par with some of the nations best. I have many friends from Bio and Marine science that have graduated form here and moved on to grad school at stanford, yale, U vancover etc. if your an english major, uh maybe not come here. and as far as extracurricular activites?? people gave it a d???? ok you rate it like that then youve never gone out side here!!! Theres SOOOO much shit to do if your an active person!!! ok theres only 2 24 hour dinners in town, not alot. BUT I CAN WALK TO THE BEACH!! Surfing here is great, about 2-3 miles from campus. Ocean Kayaking is killer here, Hiking, fishing, parks, sports, all SWEET! you every thrown stuff into molten lava? yea theres extra curricular activites here. yea theres not a huge city here but if you really wanna be outside and enjoy HAWAII come here, specially if your a science major. Its very challenging classes to boot way better then i expected. some facilities are ghetto but major stuff is being buiilt and renovated as i write this. I just up and came here straight out of HS with out visiting it and it was the best decision i ever made. I love this school!!
