My education at Ellis was the best and more than prepared me for any type of nursing position. Please note that $75,000 is not average starting pay, and nursing has changed alot in the years since my graduation. I went to school to care for patients, not become bogged down in paperwork. My colleagues think highly of my expertise as a nurse. Keep in mind that I have been a nurse for many years now. I wish that I had gone on to obtain my masters and NP right out of nursing school, as it is more difficult once you enter the work force. Nursing continues to make strong demands on it's workforce. I will always maintain that Ellis is the BEST!
