NCATSU is an outstanding school for a person who loves the ghetto, hates diversity, and enjoys baby work.

Dorm Rooms = Vanstory(Coed) also the third floor is flooded>, Morrow(Men), Barbee Hall(Women), Haley Hall(Coed) are run-down dorms. Barbell Hall is the worst dorm for any student. My roommate and I can shake hands while laying down in our beds. Our sink leaks whenever we or our next door neighbor turns on the water. Our lights are broken and although we complain, it has NEVER been fixed in the past 5 months.

Housing Process = Horrible. Students were given housing rates of LAST YEAR.

Teachers = I've had some teachers who don't speak English very well.

The Math, Science and Nursing departments are on probation. So taking any classes in this area means they have to bump you up a letter grade. example(F = D, B = A)

Not only in my opinion, but in many of my friends and associates say that A&T has proven Black stereotypes to be true.

I plan to transfer and never return to A&T.

It is sad to think that someone would actually put such a degrading remark about the best school in America. When I was a student living in Scott Hall, dorm conditions were not great but it did not have an impact on my ability to learn and feel safe. North Carolina A&T have Aggie Suites and a Scott Hall replacement and other modern buildings so if the dorm was so bad and had the negative influence it supposedly had on this person, then move. My son stayed in Vanstory and had no problems, and will graduate with honors December 15, 2007. Every school has its problems, when decide to transfer, you could be looking at something worse than what you have already experienced. If you would spend more time focusing on getting an education and less time on other matters, you will be much better off in the future. By the way, I stayed in Scott Hall most of my time and I have a B.S., two Masters and a Doctorate Degree and retired as a Principal. If you want to complain about living condtions, take a look at those poor children in Africa and appreciate what you have. Also, look at all the successful A&T Graduates that stayed in those buildings you find so horrible and think about what is really important.
