Don't think for a second that going to college and getting an education in the classical sense is going to help you get a good job, even if you do exceptionally well. Employers want people with specific skills to fill specific roles within their organizations. Your prospective future boss dose not want someone who is an aggressive, creative independant thinker who is going to make them look bad or have the audacity to disagree with them or the company about anything. This includes both public a private employers. If you have the financial resources to waste four or more years of your life pursuing higher education, good for you. But leave your moral and ethical dilemas in your philosphy class because in the real world its all about this quarters profit margin and budget. Expect to work long extra hours for no pay and do the work your employer is too cheap to pay its employees to do. Your personal needs are unimportant, you work for the company now! You'll get just as far, just as fast, finding a job you like with a company you can live with and working your way up, as opposed to being unemployed, overqualified and saddled with tens of thousands of dollars of debt. Don't buy into the big lie that you need to go to college.
