Date: May 05 2006 Major: History/Histories (art history/etc.) (This Major's Salary over time) GRCC was a good choice for me. Instructors were generally accessable and easy to talk with, and the tuition is inexpensive. Originally, I went to school here because I didn't know what I wanted to do after high school and I didn't want to waste money going to a large university. GRCC has an mediocre reputation which is unfortunate because it is largely due to the fact it has an open enrollment policy. However, once you are in, you do have to work. The college does a good job at preparing you and most credits are transferable. I ended up transfering to the University of Michigan and 58 of the 62 credits I had were transferable. Not bad at all. It's a cliche, but the college is what you make of it. If you do well at GRCC you can go anywhere.
