Avoid this school at all costs! Professors are leaving as quickly as they can due to the prevalence of nasty politics at this school (especially in humanities departments); it has dropped substantially in college rankings over the past few years, also. Within my department, the faculty resent being here and feel they should be at a better university. This attitude is transferred onto students. In my unfortunate time at this school, I have seen several graduate students chased away because of departmental politics. Overall, it is a depressing, horrible environment—I cannot stress this enough: stay away!
