This school is a complete JOKE. I came here with aspirations of getting my grades up and trasferring to a prestigious university. I thought by going to Dean I'd be surrounded by students with the same mentality. Could I have been anymore wrong. Here's what ticked me off the most:

The students: highly UNinteligent and unmotivated. Forget going to college for an academic experience, these kids want nothing more then to get wasted or sit in their dorms and do nothing all day. Guys are disrespectful to girls, girls are disrepectful to themselves and there have been instances with students confronting eachother with guns and knives.

After a year or so at Dean students either finish their colligate years for good or transfer to a similar crappy university. Additonally, it's just like high school with the cliques except there is only a 2% population of students who are highly academically driven and mature.

Price: $33k. NOT WORTH A SINGLE PENNY. This school is so overpriced and it takes most if not all of its money for profit. See for yourself the next time you're in the area. The dorms are crappy, even the library isn't in that great of shape. If the tuition was no more than 20K then the condition of this school would be acceptable. But for 33? give me a break.

Teachers: The professors I had were alright. Some obviously better then the others. I found the coursework to be way to easy which was understandable considering the majority of students they're trying to teach. Most of the time I sympathized with many of these professors having to teach such academically lacking individuals.

Positives:

  • the commuter rail is 5 minutes down the street for a quck get-away. (BOSTON is amazing)
  • Offers various dance classes that are worth credits.(this is supposedly a decent school for dance majors but I'm not a dancer so I have no comment)
  • As for me I did acheive my goal of getting my grades up to a gpa of 3.8 and I'll be attending a highly prestigious instituion in the fall. However this could have easily been done at a community college.
