Major: Engineering Department (This Major's Salary over time)
Cooper Union has an extremely demanding engineering curriculum. Even though the student body is extremely smart, those who don't become hard workers usually fail out. I was a Resident Assistant in the Residence Hall, and saw quite a few residents (including roommates) who flunked out. Every semester I would have sit-downs with stressed-out freshmen taking DLD or even just Physics. My junior & senior year I perfected the 36 hour day (with 12 hours of sleep in between.) But through it all, Cooper trains you how to think, and builds you into a highly intelligent, motivated person. I'm not directly involved with engineering now, but I still find my Cooper education invaluable.
