Major: Psychology (This Major's Salary over time)
VCC is a great school to attend and can help you cut down on college costs, but just make sure you set goals early and know where you want to go after VCC ASAP (before or during your freshman year is best) in order to take the required courses to get into the next University of your choice (so you will not be wasting your time and money on classes that will not transfer). VCC is one of the highest rated community colleges in the nation and it shows; the majority of the teachers I have had were awesome and made my semesters fun, interesting and informative. My top advice is to hold off on getting your actual AA degree until you know for sure that you have all of the courses you need to transfer to your next college; it will save you a lot of hassle…especially if you want to go to a college like UF that has mandatory classes for specific majors for transfer students. Also, utilize the rate my professor site…it can help you pick out some of the best teachers whom love to help you make the most of your education.
