NYIT's manhattan campus is a satellite campus. The real campus is in westbury, and as such, most of the money goes to the westbury campus. The manahttan campus is far too small, and is falling apart. There are two dorms, one uptown on 88th and west end, and one in brooklyn. The classes range from easy to mind numblingly stupid. The professors can be helpful, but most of them suck. However, it's not all bad. There are many opportunities to make yourself useful on campus. Join the newspaper, play on the recreational sports team, join the SGA or the raio station. As much as NYIT lacks, it can still be good for something. So basically, if you're looking for a true collge experience, don't go here. If you're looking to make something interesting happen though, you might want to give nyit a shot.
