JSU has its problems like any HBCU but I stand by my alma mater because it helps student receive a higher education when they can't get into any other university due to low G.P.A. or ACT scores (those high school mistakes not realized until junior or senior year). Also kindness goes a long way at this university. Treat staff like you want to be treated. Though this does not hold true for all staff members the ones that are kind will the go the distance with you when you are in need.
