Rollins is an overall good school. There are some good and bad things about it like every college.

The Good:

small classes. i feel this really makes a difference, classes are more discussion based and the professors actually know you by name.(b/c classes are so small attendance policy here is very strict)

the professors- for the majority of my classes here the profs have been good, they're always willing to talk to you/help you if you need it. there are no TA's here, and i think something like 92% of faculty hold PHD's.

location-beautiful campus and winter park is an interesting city, and orlando is only 5 mins away.

The Bad:

Dorms-all first year students are req'd to live on campus. The dorms suck. they are dirty, old, and small.

Food-not many dining options, the main cafeteria has decent fool most of the time, but it gets old quick.

atmosphere-this is a HUGE party school. drinking/drugs rule the social scene here. if you're not into that you may have trouble finding friends/feeling like you fit in.

student body-most of the kids that go here are superficial and arrogant. money and looks are the most valued assets here. that's not everyone though, there are a lot of cool, down to earth people as well.

Overall I feel you can get an excellent education here that can prepare you for life after college. Just, when you get here don't get caught up in the drugs/drinking that are everywhere, stay the course here and you will be well rewarded at the end.
