Major: Geography and Geosciences (This Major's Salary over time)
William and Mary is an incredibly unique place in that it is a small, liberal arts school that is publicly supported. Class sizes are incredibly small and professors are highly accessible- not only in upper level 'in major' classes, but in some intro seminars as well. Some of my professors have become my best friends, and this does not make me unusual. Don't come to William and Mary if having a raving bar scene is important to you, because you'll be sorely disappointed. Don't come to William and Mary if you're a slacker, because I had to study all the time here to get good grades, and the competition is fierce. Williamsburg may not be a jumping college town, but the campus and the surrounding area could not be more beautiful. The school provided me with a fantastic education at a relatively inexpensive cost, and I would recommend this school in a heartbeat, although admittedly, the atmosphere here is not for everyone.
