Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
After my freshman year at UF, I decided to transfer to UNF. I had no expectations of the school, so I was surprised and impressed with the quality of education provided as well as the great professors who are passionate to help you achieve great things. My business classes have been a mix of large, lecture halls and smaller, intimate discussion groups, and I have learned so much more there than I did during my year at UF, where I felt like nothing more than a number. Jacksonville definitely isn't a "College Town", so if you are looking for the true college experience, I don't recommend it, but if you place an emphasis on educational quality, UNF is a great value. It is also easier to get involved in extracurriculars, because the Greek system doesn't run every little thing, and there is less red tape. I think that there are great things to come for this school, definitely give it a chance when considering Florida public universities.
