Major: PreMed and Medical (This Major's Salary over time)
The biology, chemistry and microbiology courses at NSU made me very well prepared for medical school. I graduated in the top 5% of my med school class. The school has no reputation outside Louisiana, but the price was right and I don't think I would have been better prepared for med school had I attended college elsewhere.There is not much to do in Natchitoches, but the town is beautiful. There is a nice lake and a river if you enjoy fishing or water skiing. Sports are pretty good. The quality of the teams varies greatly from year to year, but a fair percentage of the student body supports the demons.
