While I've only been at Beloit for approximately a month, I definitely like the close knit feel and the friendships I've formed. The academics are pretty good and generally demanding. However, it's not anything unmanageable and there are plenty of resources.

This definitely isn't a school for everyone, I definitely recommend at least two overnight stays to get a good feel of the night life and social scene. Beloit the city isn't very remarkable nor safe, so you definitely need to feel at home and comfortable at campus to find things to do.

While I really love Beloit and feel very content here, I must say you should come prepared to know everyone's business. Beccause everyone knows everyone relatively speaking, there is a lot of gossip.

Give Beloit a chance though- the students I know who don't like it here are generally negative people who didn't want to come here in the first place but did because of financial reasons or because their dream schools rejected them so be sure you WANT to be here, otherwise from what I can see, it can be pretty miserable.
