Date: Sep 18 2006
Major: Geography and Geosciences (This Major's Salary over time)
The good:

1.very international—you name the nationality, you find them at Queens.

2.Manhattan is a hop away.

3.the students (most) are a responsible bunch and do their own work instead of copying work off their classmates.

4. decent library.

5. abundant Internet access for laptop users throughout campus.

The bad:

1. no social life whatsoever! after a class is done, everybody bolts out of the room, never to be seen again until next session. You will NOT make a new friend or meet your next bf/gf in class—if you want to do that, it's best to join a club.

2. the food is nasty, and the in-campus eateries have failed inspections in the past, so be warned!

3. the security staff is very condescending.

4. many of the students are very, very snooty. Not approachable at all. Pretty Boys and Princesses abound!
