Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
Something has changed in the atmosphere at AIA this past year. Maybe it's the costs of rising tuition and housing. Maybe it's because we continue to loose wonderful staff members to SCAD and other colleges. But the students are starting to recognize the difference and we are not pleased. If the school is attempting to try something new within the system they have not announced their plans to the student body, leaving us to wonder what is going on and if the school will improve. I am an Animation Major. We use to have a wonderful teaching staff who have worked for Disney and the Cartoon network. Many have left and we have been without a department chair/head for two quarters. It seems AIA is dealing with some troubling times, if that's true… they wont tell you.
