Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I was dissappointed with Marquette. Not that it was bad, or that the faculty were terrible, or that the students were snotty, or that the neighborhood was bad, but you spend 25K at this place and it's a very average education. This school spends a TON of money on marketing, trying to make it look better than it is, but in reality it is simply an average school. I transferred to a state school. I believe I'm getting just as average an education at about a quarter of the price.A couple good things about the place: I do miss the advising. You get one advisor and they actually know who you are and what you're trying to do. Also, the campus is very politically active, something the state schools can't replicate. But overall, these few positives weren't worth the price of admission.
