Major: Undecided (This Major's Salary over time)
Eugene, sadly, is not the place that it is advertised to be. I feel as alot of the things to do in the city are for those 21 and older, which is dissapointing for underclassmen. The professors are good, although somewhat subjective which bothers me. Its almost as if they are trying to get you instead of teach you sometimes. Graduate students are teaching 2 of my 3 classes, which I feel is a rip off of my money, but at least they are just trying to teach you information. I will be transferring as I am A) not pleased with my value for the money, B) the city is not catered to what kids want to do, its hotbed of liberalism has died down—all those rambunctious kids who wanted to make a difference are retirees now, and it really shows =/ and C) It does not hold my major that I would like do to. Hope this helps. If you are looking for a good social life, which is important in this time of our lives, Eugene isnt really the place to do it. Sorry.
