ISU has plenty of activities and things to do, but I often feel that the money is wasted on too much fluff, rather than on academics. The school blames state and federal government for the high price of attendance rather than examining its own budget and cutting the unnecessary stuff. Given the yearly increasing cost of tuition, I would recommend to most students that they spend some time at one of Iowa's top-notch community colleges and transfer in credits. If you're from out-of-state, go somewhere else.
