Major: Engineering Department (This Major's Salary over time)
UT-Dallas, not Richardson, is a good school academically speaking. It is one of the toughest to be admitted into in the state, but is seriously lacking in a social life. Most departments are very strong and offer a good education, but the campus is aesthetically lacking to say the least. There need to be more dining options open at more hours, like cafeteria food with a large real salad bar etc. That being said if you are smart, go here. You will notice that about a quarter of the campus is international. I wonder why this is not listed in rankings. There is great diversity here which is a plus, but people don't socialize so it doesn't really benefit anyone but in the classroom.
