Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale is a great place to learn how to drink and socialize with the opposite sex. You will not learn anything important from the teachers. They are has- beens and are just cashing in a paycheck. The administration forces the teachers to pass all students for the first 5 quarters then reality sets in. If you can’t buy someone rejected work and pass it as yours, you’ll have 2 more quarters before they ask you to leave. I started in a class of over 125 students. By 7th quarter, there were 30 of us. I graduated with 22 students and most likely the only one still in advertising. The placement program is a joke. They have no listing other then the daily classified. When I found a job, I had to notify them. If you are serious, go to NYT or Pratt and get something they will help your future - An Education.
