I absolutely love this school. It's 5 minutes away from downtown Dallas, but has the most beautiful tree-filled campus with beautiful all brick buildings, modeled after an ivy-league school. SMU is rich in tradition with the boulevard tailgating for football games and things like the celebration of lights at Christmas. Greek life dominates the social scene with bus parties and formals. Reccomend living in an all-freshman dorm freshman year to meet as many people in your class as possible. Classes are challenging and small enough to know your professor by a first name basis. Stereotypes of wealth are true; most kids here are very well off, but still extremely friendly. Girls are VERY good looking and always well dressed. ;) Medium-sized population and campus make for a picturesque setting in the heart of the wealthy park cities area of Dallas. BEAUTIFUL school. AWESOME social life. GREAT classes and OPPORTUNITIES (especially with COX school of business, which is very well respected.) TONS of extracurriculars and intramurals. AWESOME SCHOOL. SMU IS AWESOME.
