Prairie View A&M University is a school that will not only push you to achieve academic success, which is very important, but it also nurtures you socially to become a pillar of society, for PVAMU does "Produce Productive People". Although placed in the country, it is still always some type of activity that students can get involved in, and if not Houston is only 30 minutes away. The fact that its not right in the middle of the city provides for it to have the close knit family atomosphere that PV is known for. The campus is beautiful, espeacially compared to other HBCUs. But just like any HBCU you have to stay on top of them about your financial aid. But to be honest, I wouldn't trade my university for any other.
