Bennington College

I have just finished my first semester at Bennington and I am now about to leave for my Field Work Term. I already miss all of my friends and the campus, but I cannot believe that as a Freshman I will already be out in the world for 7 weeks working in the area in which I am interested! I have realized that I will have at least 4 experiences to put on a resume, not counting summers, by the time I graduate. I will really have a resume!! Anyway, I have loved Bennington so far. The campus is warm and friendly, the professors are brilliant and the food is great! The dorms are houses, so there is not that feeling of staying in hotel, or of being a faceless doorway in a giant high rise. As far as classes go, I am able to take interesting classes right away, I don't have to fulfill a bunch of boring requirements. I have classes with Freshman and Upperclassmen and that is fantastic. I find the Upperclassmen to be impressive and inspiring. The work is very hard at times, but always satisfying. I highly recommend the school!
