Major: Geography and Geosciences (This Major's Salary over time)
Students need leadership and yet an opportunity to approach and be mentored into challenging, but rewarding directions. Often faculty is too busy keeping up with the politics of keeping their jobs if they are not tenured. This is a shame, and good teachers are lost constantly through the political shark tank. The tenured professors are absorbed in research and publishing and fail to meet the need of the students to progress toward grad school.
