Brookdale is a great community college to go to if you need a second chance or want to boost up your GPA to transfer. Some of the teachers are top notch and you actually will learn a lot. I got a 3.9 by just doing homework and all of the extra credit. I really enjoyed doing homework for some classes. They actually require you to do research and then apply them to a real world understanding. Some of the assignments I had to do required going to town meetings or visiting a local courthouse. I felt like I actually learned something and expanded my intelligence.The social life here is non-existent. Brookdale is high school after high school. Theres still the japs, goths and stuck up rich kids who hang around in cliques. There is not intelligent discussion going on, nor is there a real university setting. Brookdale is situated in Lincroft, which is a suburban town that is leaned more on the rural side. All in all, if you don't have friends who go here already, don't plan on having any social life.
