The university does an alright job at teaching the course material in the science department. I felt that the required religous classes were not taught on a college level. Most of the course material was either coveredin basic Sunday School or it was just "busy work" so the professor would have something to base their grades on. I think that it is a great university for high school kids who are religous & conservative. On a more personal note I am gay and the university doesn't have the best policy regarding homosexuals. If you are gay and like to be really open about it the university is not for you. Also, some of the studets tend to be religous fanatics and as a whole they don't like gay people. So if you are gay just forwarning you that the people there are certainly not going to embrace you with open arms. More likely than not they'll be finding a quick way to kick your butt out to the curb. I must sat that their Christian love & compassion are "overwhelming"!
