Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
The academics at Pensacola are above average and I was more prepared to enter the field of nursing when I graduated than other new graduate nurses. However in retrospect, I would not attend PCC nor would I encourage others to attend there. The staff and faculty have the opinion that no student can be trusted with any priviledges nor can they make good informed decisions when it comes to social matters. The atmosphere is stifling, very restrictive and I do not look back on my college days with fond memories. College students are legal adults and should be treated with some respect. There is little if any respect given to students by the faculty. I endured college knowing that in the end I would benefit from the high standard of education, but I now realize that there are other good options for a nursing education.
