Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
I come from a medium sized town about two hours away. I did very well in high school. I made good grades as was very much involved with extra-curriculars. I wanted a small enough school so I could be involved while still receiving an excellent education. While it is possible to be very much involved at IC while dedicating yourself to education, the campus is often very thankless and the run-around at this school is pretty absurd. Several very unqualified people have jobs at this school, both in faculty and in administration. Mistakes are made constantly and its a wonder how anything ever gets done. Since the school is so small, there are several incredibly biased professors who have favorites in their classes. Many students receive unfair grades. I myself am a victim of this, as a professor of my major gave me several unfair grades which severely hurt my gpa, which caused me to not get into my top grad schools. If you are an art major, DO NOT go to this school.
