In my business, who you know and whom you are associated with is huge. I have had to distance myself from PCC because of its negative reputation with other believers, and its extremely limited musical boundaries.

Teachers were wonderful, but they themselves were not (and most had never been) involved in the real music world outside of PCC, and therefore neglected many current trends in technology and methods. I find myself at a distinct disadvantage in my industry.
