Norwalk Community College is a great associative degree school. As a freshman, it is a lot better to go to NCC than to an expensive four year university which is harder to get into right after high school. Earn your college credits from NCC and then you can transfer to many different colleges. The only bad part is that the surrounding towns are very expensive to live in unless you live in a cheap town in Connecticut away from the college or with your parents.
