I transfered here after a long absence from school after having originally attended a major Boston university. SSC is much easier than those schools so the challenge is non-existent. If you do any amount of effective studying, you'll get a B here. If you bear down, straight A's are more than achieveable. Most students are commuters and so involvement in campus activities is limited and difficult to cultivate. Of course it is also 1/10th the price of that large Boston university as well. I was able to attend without ANY debt. I think students have to be very aggressive to get the most out of SSC. It you want to do research or get involved, YOU need to take the initiative and not wait for it to fall into your lap.
