I feel that a lot of the people commenting on this school did not have a good experience because of the school, but because they didn't make the best of it. I am not in a sorority, my parents aren't THAT rich, and I'm not white… but I definitely enjoy my time here. Don't let those people who felt like "outcasts" scare you out of going here, those people apparently don't know how to make the best of a situation and are as close-minded as the people that they are criticizing! Bottom line is, college is supposed to be a good experience, both educationally and socially, and if you want to, you can have a great time. Just don't take everything personally; yes, some people are a little stuck up, but not all people who carry Gucci bags are snobs (I'm not!). And you want a good education don't you? You'll get that here, whether you're in the "in" crowd or not. The beautiful campus, fun nightlife, and interesting social scene are just a plus =)
