I had a very bad experience with the "collections" department. I was not able to pay for my last class because I lost my job while my son was recovering in the hospital (ICU) from being (brutally) attacked in school and the lack of sympathy and the apathy I experienced, left such a bad taste in my mouth that I have not responded to any requests to join Alumni. Even though I complained about the way in which I was treated, it was never addressed and the more I complained, the more apathy I received. I am very happy with my education at Barry U, with a couple of exceptions (faculty), however, the staff behind the scenes need to be a little more appreciative of our presence as students and not treat us as though they are doing us a favor! Sorry for the negativity.
