Major: Architecture (This Major's Salary over time)
I chose UHM because of its excellent architecture program… it's the only one of its kind to be approved by the NAAB to give the doctorate degree in architecture. Most of my classes have been architecture-related and I mainly come and go in the architecture building, which is one of the nicest buildings on campus. My experiences at the college might be different from people in the other majors, so I just speak for myself. So far, I've been enriched by the education and the opportunities given to me at UH… the professors are always there for help and become mentors to me. People are generally (well…yeah, generally) pretty nice and easy to get along with (I found great groupmates to do intense projects with), the environment is great (this is Hawaii, after all)… I really can't imagine myself anywhere else.
