APU has community like no other school. Having worked for our Freshmen Orientation program, "community" was, by far, the most commonly mentioned "favorite thing" about being a student here when I spoke with freshmen their first semester here.

Additionally, it's amazing how our faculty involve themselves with students. They generally want to go beyond the classroom int heir relationships with students and you will find you can actually get to know most of your professors.

This will be of great help when you need letters of recommendation for grad school and/or employment following graduation!

To be fair, though, I should mention that the school is not perfect. For example, if you were hoping for banquet meals every day in the cafeteria, you should probably take a look at Biola!

My question is, how did you know that APU was the christian school for you?Im in the middle of deciding on transferring to APU,i live in Florida and go to a secular college. What other christian schools do you recommend, and what do you think about biola? GOD Bless. Id love to hear more about APU and the community. Thanks

To the person above me: I've heard nothing but good news about Biola. Very good school. Other good Christian Schools that I know of (in Cail) are Vanguard Uni (Assemblies of God), The Master's College (non-denom), and California Baptist Uni (baptist, obviously). my friends recommend all of the above that I've listed.

You will know if it's the right school for you just by knowing. As long as you keep praying about it, God will reveal it to you, in His time, in ways that you will KNOW that it is THE college for you. If you have peace in the decision, then you have found the perfect college for you.
