Southwestern does a great job at teaching you exactly what you should think instead of teaching you HOW to think. It is a school for home-school/Christian cultured kids and if you are a Christian that does not fit into the box, you do not fit in. I would say that anyone wanting to go into ministry should go to a state university and then go to Seminary for a Master's degree in order to get the appropriate education.
