Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
I was a first year art student at BSU. With Idaho's lack of universities, I wish I could have gone somewhere else. However, it was either Boise or Moscow, and Moscow is a joke. I would say that BSU is an example of the failure of our modern school system. It was like going to high school all over again. Please, if you can avoid it, DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL.At first I thought it was just me, but then I realized that it was everyone else as well. The students are dispirited, depressed, and are beyond apathetic about their grades. "'C's' get degrees" was the motto of a 5th year student I roomed with on campus who had fallen by the wayside like a full 1/2 of the BSU community. Not only that, but the art department is a waste of time. I found myself making COLOR WHEELS in one class. Color wheels!Don't let yourself be fooled by whatever example the campus itself sets up for you. Yes, it's nice but if you want a quality education, look elsewhere.
