C.W. Post is a definate commuter school. For those who are not in a club or on an athletic team, campus life is extremely dull. Money is a must. Not only because of the price of tuition and dorming, but also due to if you do not have a job during the school year or a standard source of income then you will have zero fun. Almost all partying is done off campus which usually requires a taxi to get to the desired club or bar (unless you have a designated driver willing to pay money to get into the club/bar, not drink, and watch over all the others). All in all, my experience in my first year was neither great nor horrible. Just be sure you get into some type of club or team because it makes coping with the boring weekends much easier.
