I graduated PC in 2005 and it absolutely opened many doors for me. I get "ohhhs" and "ahhs" when I say I went to PC, especially with the current faculty at my graduate school and at my internships. Many of the comments on this site are negative for the social aspect at PC, but what are you expecting coming to a Catholic, private college in the Northeast? It is true, PC is largely compromised with upper-middle class students who do have money, but I completely disagree with the person that commented on the socio-economic racism that goes around, yes it may have been an isolated incident, but does not happen regularly. There are many students borrowing their way through college at PC. I highly recommend PC to anyone wanting a great social life, highly-regarded academics, and life in an up and coming city. I'll be honest that if you were a social outcast in high school you may have a hard time fitting in here, but you can find your niche if you put the effort in.
