Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
Northwest College of Art is an affordable school compared to other "technical" art colleges in the area. It is very small, and located in an ideal enviornment for artists. I decided to attend for these reasons, but have since dropped out due to financial complications. But what comes with such an intimate enviornment are limited resources. The school does not provide a whole lot to work with in terms of technology, facilities, or school-sponsored extracurricular activites, and makes little attempt, sometimes even complicating, the students wishes to haves these things. The teachers are wonderful, and the classes interesting. Like a previous review stated, it would be a good place for an artist who already knows what they want and has the drive to get it themselves.Northwest College of Art has the ability to be an amazing school. However, I would recommend that anyone planning to attend take note that myself and other students have serious concerns about the administrative policies, and personally, I wouldn't return until those issues are dealt with.
