Overall, SDSU is a great university, and will provide you with a good, solid education. However, it is not for everyone. I am transferring out not because I didn't like the education I was getting, but because I couldn't take anymore of the people who go to this school. There is absolutely no diversity. 80% of the people who go to this school applied because of its party reputation, and don't take their education seriously because mommy and daddy are paying for them to live in expensive dorms and apartments. If you are like the kids from Laguna Beach you will definitely fit in. Every girl looks the same here, its hard to tell them apart, but who cares most people are drunk half the time anyways. Theses girls are very snotty and clique-y. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of serious students here, but they are the ones that commute to school. I lived on campus my freshman year, and both of my suitemates were catholic school girls, both got drunk every weekend and one was a crack addict. This is what you get to live with if you live in the dorms. If partying is your lifestyle, I encourage you to go to this school, you will love it. San Diego has everything to offer in the social scene. But if you are serious about your education, think twice because you will go here and you won't be happy. Whenever I tell someone I go to SDSU, their response is "Oh?…"

Oh and another thing, this school is very crowded because the university accepts too many students, simply so they can collect more tuition money. Then everyone has to crash classes because they fill up quick
