I am starting my second year at Vandy in a couple of weeks and truthfully I am kind of dreading it. I made friends last year and they are great, but it is a tough, competitive social scene and there are just a lot of people there who are not very nice (really just a lot of the sorority girls).

I also ended up getting sick a lot last year because of all the partying and basically from the poor quality food.

The work was okay, I could handle it, and I did well, but I am not really crazy about my program, I wanted business, but it seems kind of lame at Vanderbilt. I wish I had gotten my act together to transfer.

On a good note—I really like Nashville, and the campus is beautiful. Hopefully next year I will feel more challenged academically and meet more down to earth people.

In my opinion, the rumors about it being a rich kid party school are pretty much true.
