My three years at Elmhurst College have been better than I ever expected college to be. Not only have I completely come out of my shell, but have had my mind opened up to the vast possibilities that exist in this world. Elmhurst has helped me see beyond my limitations and given me the education and drive to explore the world. When I started college, I had no idea what career I would pursue when I graduated, but the classes I have taken have no doubt been beneficial in helping me prepare for my future.

I like the fact that Elmhurst is a small school because I feel like I know most of the people here”students and faculty who not only help me grow in my education, but serve as valuable networks. The people at Elmhurst are so friendly that you can’t help but adopt that personality yourself. I felt it the moment I came on campus for tours and open houses before I even started my first year.

I also believe the quality in professors is extremely high. Some of the teachers that I’ve had have left me positively mesmerized by their brilliance. They also care about your progress as an individual. You are not just a number floating through college. People actually care to get to know you no matter what your background is. Isn’t it nice when people recognize you by name and face?

You definitely have the opportunity to flourish in every aspect of your life at Elmhurst. You just have to take advantage of the numerous resources that are at your disposal.
