Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time)
EMU has a great reputation for a few programs like Education, Japanese and business. If you are not considering any of these majors, I wouldn't recommend going here. Most of my professors and advisers were helpful and friendly. They were always around to chat and ask questions. I made quite a lot of friends here and enjoyed many of the students organizations. Living situation. If you are living on campus your first year, I would just stay on campus for the rest of you collegiate life. I lived off campus near the school and had the worst experience. Ypsilanti is a scary and violent place to live. Someone broke into my apartment stole all of my electronics, my car was hit and broken in too. You have drug dealers, addicts, and sexual offenders walking around the area all the time. If you have to live off-campus live in those secure apartment complexes or in the residential area. Ann Arbor is just a few minutes away and you might find a nice place even there.
