Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
I chose CSU because it was cheap, away from my parents, and because I thought I wanted to become a veterinarian (#2 in the nation). That lasted about two months as freshman, and I chose the Microbiology major off the brochure because it "sounded cool". I wasn't popular in high school, but the place is so damn social that it taught me how to become social as well. The Greek system is laid back, the same as everyone on campus, the classes can be as useful as you make them, and for the price, you can't go wrong. Nightlife has everything you need-go down to Denver for the big city feel, out in Old Town just to have a beer with some friends, the brewery tours when you need to relax on the weekend, and up to the mountains for snowboarding, skiing, hiking, or mountain biking. I just wish they could compete with my current school for the graduate program. Just go, get involved with one or two student organizations, ignore the stupid RAs, and have a great time!
