I did my undergrad work at Eastern and I honestly kind of miss the school not Portales. There is nothing to do in Portales and even ENMU is almost like being in a large high school. You pretty much have the same people in all your classes which can be beneficial. The faculty is really accomodating and friendly. I was given great recommendations letters for grad school and got into my first choice. The faculty knows who you are which I kind of miss now that I'm at a bigger school. All in all ENMU is a good school but Portales sucks. Portales is a really conservative small town full of hicks.
